Responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Project Engineer to join the team at Lintott, a Galliford Try business.

In the role of Project Engineer, you will plan, budget, specify and co-ordinate the operations of the Electrical Design Team assigned to the project.

  • Plan & lead design resources.
  • Communicate progress to all key stakeholders, including Technical Director, Project Managers and the client.
  • Communicate and coordinate design outputs / lead collaborative design activities between different skill sets / departments, including mechanical and software engineers.
  • Review designs and project timescales.
  • Obtain quotations and raise Procurement BOMs.
  • Compile Test & Commissioning Plans.
  • Compile Method Statements and Risk Assessments for delivery, modification & commissioning activities.
  • To engineer and plan site works, ensuring correct equipment, tooling and materials are available to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality installations of the Lintott product on-site.
  • Identify change in scope, communicate to the Project Manager and estimate costs for CE / VO capture.
  • Undertake quality assessments and goods inspections.
  • Support tendering department with estimating of new enquiries.Identify both good and bad practice feeding back to the business to identify opportunities for improvement and acknowledge jobs well done.
