Description

You are an Electrical Project Engineer looking to join a busy power and renewables team with a strong pipeline of work secured for the next 5+ years based out of Glasgow. This role offers the chance to work on challenging projects, develop your technical skills, and build your career as part of a forward-thinking and supportive team.
You’ll be working across the full project lifecycle, from tender and design through to construction, commissioning, and energisation, with a strong focus on HV electrical elements within M&E projects. There’s also scope to expand your experience into transmission and distribution projects, with exposure to systems up to 400kV.
You are adaptable, detail-focused, and enjoys taking ownership of technical delivery while collaborating closely with colleagues, contractors, and clients.

ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER SKILLS:

  • A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in engineering design/project management on industrial installation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HV and MV network requirements in industrial environments.
  • Experience with energy management systems and integration of automated controls.
  • A proven record of delivering projects to budget and on time.
  • Strong IT and project management software skills (AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.).
  • A flexible, delivery-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – confident working with teams and clients.
  • Ability to lead, influence, and mentor others while keeping safety and quality at the forefront.
