Responsibilities

THE ROLE

GenOffGrid have a suite of new microgrid projects commencing which require an Electrical Project Engineer to support their successful delivery. GenOffGrid microgrid projects are world class and often first of kind in the industry. The candidate sought is a motivated self-starter who is able to work effectively and efficiently under pressure. Previous industry related experience will be highly regarded.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and control the development of allocated projects, from feasibility stage to handover to the client, to achieve design and delivery objectives while ensuring client satisfaction
  • Co-ordination of project resources and budgets including labour, materials, equipment, tools, sub-contractors
  • Work with the Engineering team in preparation of designs which meet customer requirements and also align with the relevant codes and standards
  • Establish, monitor and report project schedules
  • Regularly report project progress to management
  • Participate in the tendering or business development process for prospective projects
  • Support contract administration (variations, delay management etc)
  • Engage with government departments and authorities to obtain approvals
  • Ensure that projects are delivered to a high level of quality in accordance with GenOffGrid quality management system
  • Ensure that projects are delivered safely and in accordance with GenOffGrid’s safety management system
