Our client, a top-tier electrical contractor with a strong national presence, is seeking a Project Executive (PX) or Senior Project Manager (Sr PM) with proven experience leading large-scale, mission-critical construction projects. This role focuses on electrical infrastructure for data centers, with full oversight of a high-profile $80M+ project.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7–10+ years’ experience managing large-scale electrical construction projects; data center or critical infrastructure experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success in projects $50M+, with full accountability for schedules, budgets, and stakeholder management.

DEEP KNOWLEDGE OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS, CONSTRUCTION PRACTICES, AND PROJECT CONTROLS.

  • Skilled in client management, contract negotiations, and strategic decision-making.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools.
Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

This leadership position is ideal for a PX/Sr PM with strong expertise in data center project delivery. You will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle—from preconstruction and budgeting to closeout and client turnover. This role demands technical depth, financial and operational control, and exceptional leadership across all project functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for the entire data center project, managing all client-facing communication and driving success from concept through completion.
  • Lead the development and execution of material and labor budgets, schedules, and procurement strategies.
  • Coordinate across internal teams (estimating, engineering, field operations) and external partners (GCs, vendors, consultants) to maintain project momentum.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to monitor progress, quality, and field execution.
  • Oversee project documentation (submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contracts).
  • Drive team performance through clear direction, goal setting, and continuous feedback—ensuring on-time delivery, safety compliance, and high-quality standards.
  • Regularly report project status, risks, and forecasts to executive leadership.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities, productivity enhancements, and proactive solutions to avoid delays or overruns.
  • Mentor and develop project teams, fostering talent growth and long-term workforce development.
