JOB SUMMARY:

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of electrical projects from conception to final delivery. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met within budget, schedule, and quality requirements. Your technical expertise, leadership skills, and attention to detail will be crucial in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related experience (Required).
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, overseeing electrical projects of varying complexities and scales with a focus on heavy commercial, light industrial, and water treatment facilities.
  • Airport and Airfield lighting experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage electrical projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and project evaluations to determine the viability and profitability of electrical projects.
  • Create and manage project schedules, resource allocation, and procurement activities, ensuring optimal utilization of available resources.
  • Coordinate with design teams to review electrical plans, specifications, and technical drawings, providing input and guidance as necessary.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion and delivery of projects.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect workmanship, enforce safety protocols, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and final project reports.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in electrical technology, incorporating best practices into project management processes.
