ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Electrical Project Manager in Orlando, Florida.

ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial electrical projects up to $30M+, theme park experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Local and National Electrical Code requirements.
  • Experience with contract documents (drawings, subcontracts, contract addendum, specifications, change orders).
  • Strong experience with Accubid, Bluebeam and MS Office Suite.
  • Must have a stable work history, no more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.
  • Experience reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
  • Florida drivers license in good standing.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Computer Skills – digital prints and forms
  • Responsible for all jobsite paperwork including: daily reports, safety reports, project reports, etc.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
  • Defines and clarifies project scope and sets team direction and goals.
  • Determines organizations structure of project teams – identifies roles and directions.
  • Conducts review of initial job estimate and takes ownership of the construction estimate and budget projections.
  • Preparation of layout and construction drawings.
  • Understands plans and specifications to identify the types and grades of materials and equipment needed to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Plan, organize and direct the procurement of materials needed for project construction using established procedures for submittal processing and subsequent material management.
  • Review and process contracts for consideration with General Contractor to establish need and issue subcontracts accordingly.
  • Develop project schedules, assigning cost and manpower to schedule.
  • Provide weekly, accurate onsite surveys of cost to complete in conjunction with lead field personnel.
  • Schedules and conducts weekly progress meetings.
  • Ensure compliance of job safety standards.
  • Responsible for job close out and turnover with General Contractor.Maintain relationships with vendors, owners, and internal business partners.
