The Egis engineering division is now almost 200 people strong across four offices in Dublin, Castlebar, Cork and Limerick. Job Description Project planning and management to ensure timely delivery and budget compliance. Review and make comment on reports or designs. Create scope and estimates and assign large and small work to appropriate entity. Review completion certificates to complete the end to end process. Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and national electrical regulations. Preparation of contract documentation and specifications to meet industry standards. Designing and reviewing design work of intermediate and junior engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables. Coordination of work with all members of the design team to achieve project objectives. Ensuring that all designs and documents are prepared to the highest standards. Estimating and cost control on projects to maximize value for clients. Compiling project reports to provide accurate and timely information. Conceptual design studies and reports to inform project decisions. Mentoring and development of junior and intermediate engineers in the team to enhance their skills and knowledge. Qualifications Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Chartered Engineer (CEng) or actively pursuing chartership Technically excellent with in-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations. Experience in leading and supervising multi-disciplinary design teams. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Competent in electrical design software and technology. Highly motivated and proactive with a willingness to take on new challenges. Advantageous Maximo experience Diploma or Masters Degree in Project Management. ATEX qualification and experience. Certified Energy Manager or experience in energy sector. Experience working with water and waste water treatment plants.
