Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Choosing a career in the renewables sector at Powersystems as an Electrical Project Manager means that you are connecting our future energy system, powered by clean electricity. The purpose of this role is to take responsibility for effective Project Management and delivery across a diverse range of electrical HV projects including liaison with clients, consultants, and their representatives. You will produce project construction programmes and manage activities in line with the construction schedule, attend progress and coordination meetings, and undertake inspections and audits to monitor quality and progress.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage commercial aspects of projects in line with budgets and forecasting for financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements including risk assessments, method statements, and audits.
  • Attend site coordination meetings and conduct quality inspections.
  • Manage internal and external resources to ensure project goals are met.
  • Build and maintain client and supply chain relationships.
  • Coordinate design and engineering teams for layouts, schedules, testing, and commissioning.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers, attend factory tests, and manage procurement.
  • Attend pre-start and client meetings.
  • Organise materials, logistics, and resource planning.
  • Organise and deliver project briefings.
  • Complete project review documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal standards.
  • Project a professional image and champion company values.
