QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid 309A Electrical License
  • 8–10 years of experience in commercial/industrial electrical work
  • 1–2 years of experience in project management and quoting
  • Proficient in Accubid estimating software (required)
  • Comfortable with tendering new projects and tight bid timelines
  • Strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code
  • Experience managing projects valued over $1M
  • Familiarity with change order management
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
  • Self-motivated, positive, and entrepreneurial
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing industrial/commercial electrical projects from start to finish. You will report to the Projects Team Leader and play a key role in estimating, scheduling, managing field personnel, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage electrical projects including manpower, materials, equipment, and timelines
  • Handle change orders when project scopes shift
  • Provide accurate labor and material estimates for new projects
  • Lead and support forepersons and electricians on-site
  • Approve invoices and control project costs
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed
  • Read schematics and assist with troubleshooting when required
  • Follow up on completed jobs to ensure full customer satisfaction
  • Follow up on quotes to help drive sales
