REQUIREMENTS

• 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering or strong trades background coupled with technical ability may be considered.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project & Primavera P6
• Proficient with AutoCad, experience with Revit/Navisworks would be advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability effectively engage with different personality types.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent planning, organisational, training, teamwork, problem resolution and presentation skills.
• Excellent literacy, numeric and IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.

ROLE PURPOSE

As Electrical Project Planner you will create and manage schedules for the pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases. You will represent the company at Client & Subcontractor meetings & provide updates to the project manager for production of Progress reports.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviewing main contractor program / contract documentation and highlighting key schedule and tracking requirements
• Develop the construction schedule in conjunction with the Main Contractor and Project Manager
• Measure quantities from drawings/BOQ to generate progress reports.
• Measuring & tracking weekly progress with the Site team and validating with the commercial team / project team.
• Conduct site visits & work with construction team members to capture and log any issues affecting progress.
• Create & manage required trackers and reporting templates.
• Highlight potential risks and roadblocks to the project team on an ongoing basis.
• Subcontractor Progress Monitoring.
• Represent the company at client progress and planning meetings.
• Ensure compliance with our Quality Management System.
