Job Description The Electrical QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring all Electrical installations and systems meet project specifications, regulatory standards, and quality benchmarks. This includes developing inspection plans, conducting audits, and supporting commissioning activities across K&M projects. Review project specifications, electrical drawings, method statements, ITPs, and quality plans. Ensure installation works comply with relevant electrical regulations (ETCI, IS 10101, IEC/BS standards). Verify that materials, equipment, and products meet approved technical submittals. Support quality plan implementation and ensure project teams follow agreed processes Conduct inspections on electrical installations including containment, cabling, terminations, panels, MCCs, LV/MV systems, generators, UPS, and distribution equipment. Witness and verify electrical testing such as: Insulation resistance, Continuity, Loop impedance & RCD testing Functional/commissioning tests Monitor and sign off ITP hold points and witness points. Identify non-conformances, raise NCRs, and track corrective actions until closure. Maintain accurate inspection and test records in accordance with project requirements. Review and compile test packs, redlines, and as‑built documentation. Prepare daily/weekly QA/QC reports for management and client teams. Support commissioning teams and final client walkdowns. Qualifications Trade qualification or degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 3–5+ years’ experience in an electrical QA/QC role within construction, M&E, industrial, pharma, or data centre environments. Strong understanding of electrical installation standards and testing procedures. Familiarity with ITPs, test packs, commissioning protocols, and quality systems. High attention to detail with excellent documentation and reporting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Valid Safe Pass; additional site certifications are an advantage.
