FUTURE POWER SYSTEMS

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced 2391 Qualified Electrical Working Foreman to take on the role of NIC EIC Qualifying Supervisor. In this role, you will oversee a team of electricians on-site, ensuring that all electrical works comply with the relevant regulations and standards. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on commercial and residential projects, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and safety are maintained at all times.
We are a M&E contractor based in Ossett but working thought Yorkshire and the north of England, specialising in Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and residential developments. With a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time, we pride ourselves on quality, innovation, and sustainable practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 2391 Qualification (Inspection and Testing)
  • NIC EIC Qualifying Supervisor status or the ability to gain it.
  • JIB Gold Card (preferred)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations is essential
  • Qualified to an NVQ level 3 Electrical Installation, and AM2 is essential.
  • Full UK Driving License. With own transport,
  • Experience with high-end residential projects.
  • Knowledge of building and construction codes within the Yorkshire region.
  • Previous experience working with larger construction companies or managing large-scale projects
  • Own tools, in good working order and proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
  • Ability to read technical documents and blueprints accurately.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of electricians on site including apprentices.
  • Ensure compliance with NIC EIC regulations and standards.
  • Oversee electrical installations, testing, and inspections on commercial and residential projects.
  • Perform regular site audits to ensure work is being completed to specification and on time.
  • Provide guidance and support to electrical teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed, ensuring documentation is up to date.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed on site.
  • Strong command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
