ROLE PURPOSE:

We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Quality Engineer with deep technical expertise in on-site installation inspection, commissioning verification, and field troubleshooting. This hybrid role bridges the gap between site execution and product quality, ensuring our electrical systems meet technical, regulatory, and safety standards from factory floor to final installation.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in electrical engineering, site inspections, installer oversight, commissioning activities, and has a solid grounding in quality control, diagnostics, and root cause analysis. Field presence, technical authority, and a proactive mindset are essential.

KEY DUTIES:

  • Conduct in-depth inspections of installed electrical systems: LV/MV switchgear, tap of units, distribution.
  • Lead and/or support commissioning activities including protective relay validation, functional testing of control panels, earthing systems, and system integration.
  • Act as the on-site technical liaison for contractors, installers, and customers.
  • Lead inspection and testing of electrical components and assemblies during in-house production.
  • Audit supplier installation practices and electrical build quality.
  • Generate detailed site reports, inspection forms, commissioning certificates, and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
  • Work with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Project Manager, and Commercial teams to align technical expectations and field realities.
  • Maintain professional, tactful communication in high-pressure scenarios, using patience, and conflict resolution techniques to manage challenging customers or disputes effectively.
