Description
SAIC is seeking an Electrical/Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to support the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Systems team. Work will be performed on-site in North Charleston, South Carolina. This program’s support to the NIWC LANT customer includes: Research and Development, Test and Evaluation, Prototype Fielding Kit Development, Engineering Documentation Development, Software Engineering, Integration, and Training and Sustainment for USMC SIGINT systems. The systems this role will support are the Communication Emitter Sensing and Attacking System II (CESAS II) and Tactical SIGINT Collection System (TSCS). Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for electrical and radio frequency engineering support for new and existing USMC SIGINT systems Development of Technical Data Packages (TDPs) to include 3D CAD models and engineering drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.100 Provide electrical/RF engineering support to testing and evaluation as required Design power, RF, and data cables for USMC SIGINT applications Responsible for applying systems analysis, design techniques, and operational procedures to complex electrical systems Provide systems development support for the integration and acquisition of new SIGINT hardware Communicate and coordinate with vendors as necessary regarding commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment Present technical information and communicate engineering design principles with the government customer Coordinate with the larger program team to include but not limited to Project Management, Logistics, Technical Writing, and Configuration Management Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Five (5) or more years of related engineering experience with a bachelors degree or three (3) or more years with a masters degree required Experience with the development of engineering drawings Experience in C5ISR-related programs supporting a Department of War customer preferred Experience with 3D CAD modeling software, such as SolidWorks, preferred but not required Clearance Requirement: Minimum Secret clearance required with ability to receive a TS/SCI Clearance Preferred TS/SCI clearance
Responsibilities
The Electrical/RF Engineer will provide engineering support for new and existing USMC SIGINT systems, including the development of Technical Data Packages and design of RF and data cables. They will also support testing and evaluation, systems integration, and communicate with vendors regarding COTS equipment.
