Electrical Repair & Project Lead Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead overhead crane control upgrade projects and perform advanced electrical troubleshooting and repairs. This role involves managing projects from planning through commissioning, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards, and collaborating with customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in drives, PLCs, and industrial control systems, along with proven leadership and project management capabilities.   Responsibilities: * Lead overhead crane control upgrade projects, including planning, installation, programming, and commissioning. * Diagnose and repair complex electrical issues on overhead cranes and related equipment. * Configure, program, and maintain PLCs, VFDs, and other industrial control components. * Collaborate with customers, engineers, and technicians to ensure successful project execution. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians. * Maintain accurate documentation, including wiring diagrams, PLC logic updates, and service reports. * Ensure all work complies with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and industry standards. * Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.   Education/Experience: Required: * High school diploma or GED. * Proven experience with overhead crane electrical systems, drives, and PLC programming/troubleshooting. * Strong understanding of industrial control systems and electrical schematics. * Ability to lead projects independently with minimal supervision. * Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. * Commitment to safety and delivering high-quality work. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions. * Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed. * Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments.
