Our Innomotics Customer Service division have a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Technician/Engineer to join our team in Western Australia. Reporting to the Service Operations Manager, the Field Service Technician/Engineer would be involved in commissioning, servicing, technical support and troubleshooting our product solution packages that consists of both Variable Speed Drives and PLC control.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Degree Electrical/Electronic engineering or a relevant Trade qualification.
• Experience in Siemens PCS7 Automation System is essential.
• An understanding or basics of power electronics.
• Enthusiasm for development in Low and Medium Voltage Variable Speed Drives skills, training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability and willingness to travel to remote sites, in WA and interstate.
• Hold a current Drivers Licence.
• Excellent communication skills, liaising effectively with customers and compiling comprehensive reports.
• Willingness to be “on call” for customer telephone support and breakdown site attendance according to the schedule roster.
