This role ensures all electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations. An active electrical license is required.   DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: * Oversee electricians, technicians, and junior staff: scheduling, mentoring, evaluating performance, and training * Source and manage external vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee workmanship * Plan, coordinate, and supervise electrical projects—from system design and installation to commissioning * Monitor preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and system reliability * Develop, manage, and track departmental budget, including equipment, materials, and labor costs * Schedule resources and ensure timely ordering of parts and material. * Maintain adherence to electrical codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, OSHA, IEC, UL) * Conduct audits, inspections, and enforce safe practices * Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, project plans, budgets, and compliance documentation * Coordinate with other departments (e.g., facilities, safety, production) and report to senior management  REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: * Deep understanding of codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, UL, OSHA, IEC) * Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, AutoCAD/EPLAN, and electrical modeling tools * Leadership capabilities: team building, communication, vendor management, and conflict resolution * Strong project and budget management skills   Education and Experience: * Must hold Electrical Contractor License  * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field * 5–10+ years electrical engineering/maintenance experience, with 2–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Based primarily in the office or field as needed for site visits and troubleshooting * May require after-hours support, weekend on-call, and emergency response * Physical ability for site inspections—standing, climbing, lifting up to ~75 lbs   Interested in joining the team?
