Responsibilities
  • Safety first approach to work, always. Provide a safe environment for those working nearby
  • You will implement good housekeeping in your own workspace and common areas
  • Testing and tagging to current electrical standards and customer requirements
  • In addition, assist with maintaining an efficient, well run electrical workshop, focused on the diagnosing, repairs, servicing and modification of welding and industrial equipment
  • You will work closely with other technicians to allocate job lists and prioritise work as and when required
  • Always abide by site rules and requirements … be aware of induction and site-specific requirements
  • Furthermore, maintain valid and up-to-date electrical license and be aware of changes to New Zealand standards
  • Assist as required with the checking, amending, and invoicing of jobs
  • Other duties as directed by senior management
