Astute’s Power Team are currently recruiting an Electrical Site Manager to oversee the electrical scope of works for the BOP Cabling scope of works on a new build waste to energy plant in Irvine, Scotland.
The Electrical Site Manager position comes with an hourly rate from £50.00 to £52.00 per hour.

Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:

• Oversee daily site activities for the BoP cabling scope (LV/MV cabling, containment, terminations, testing).
• Manage site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans, health & safety, and quality standards.
• Liaise with project and construction managers to align site progress with programme milestones.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
• Lead toolbox talks and ensure RAMS are implemented effectively.
• Interface with the client and attend progress meetings.
• Ensure compliance with CDM, company HSEQ standards, and statutory regulations.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on industrial or energy projects (Waste to Energy, Power, Utilities, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of BoP electrical installation practices.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification (essential).
• ECS/CSCS card (essential).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred).
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and QA/QC procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

• £50.00 to £52.00 per hour
• Immediate start date
• 6 months
