Description
Responsibilities
  • Define the scope, goals, and deliverables of electrical projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans including timelines, resources, budgets, and milestones.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
  • Review and approve electrical engineering plans and Specs.
  • Execution & Project Oversight
  • Lead the execution of electrical works in construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Monitor progress against schedules and adjust as necessary.
  • Oversee installation of electrical and low-voltage systems.
  • Ensure proper coordination with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, etc.).
  • Team Management - Manager and mentor managers, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Assign responsibilities and monitor team performance.
  • Ensure workforce adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance - Ensure all electrical works comply with local codes and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of site work.
  • Manage QA/QC processes, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control - Develop and manage project budgets specific to electrical scope.
  • Monitor project costs and control expenditures to stay within budget.
  • Approve invoices, change orders, and negotiate with vendors/subcontractors.
  • Communication & Coordination - Act as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings and prepare reports for senior management or clients.
  • Address and resolve any conflicts, delays, or technical issues.
  • Project Close-Out - Ensure proper documentation (as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties) is completed.
  • Oversee final testing, commissioning, and client handover.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and implement lessons learned for future projects.
