Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical, Control Systems & Reliability Specialist to join our Maintenance team, based in Port Botany. In this role, you will provide technical expertise, leadership, and coaching to our electrical team, while driving the integration of new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives across site operations. You are responsible for planning and leading major electrical outages, developing maintenance and capital improvement programs, and ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of site equipment.   You will manage contractor performance and compliance, oversee maintenance planning and work order management, and drive improvements in preventive maintenance and asset reliability. You will drive a strong safety culture through proactive safety leadership, incident management, risk assessment, and safe work practices.   This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work required to support operational needs.   Key Accountabilities: * Lead and develop a team of electrical professionals, while managing performance and maintaining positive work relationships * Develop and implement short- and long-term maintenance plans to maximise equipment reliability and performance. * Drive improvements in preventative maintenance compliance, equipment reliability, and reduction of corrective maintenance activities. * Manage contractor performance and compliance, ensuring service agreements, risk assessments, and insurance requirements are maintained. * Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership, effective incident management, and continuous improvement of safe work practices.   Qualifications, Skills and Experience: * Diploma of Engineering & Certificate IV Trade. * Demonstrated experience in electrical control systems environment. * Extensive experience in maintenance planning of industrial equipment. * Experience in the use of computer maintenance management software applications (Maximo, SAP). * Demonstrated ability to plan electrical equipment outages effectively. * Experience and knowledge of OHS& Acts, regulations, and codes of practice. * Experience in workplaces with industrial relations activities beneficial.
