Job Title: Electrical Site Supervisor - Water Sector
Location: Kent & South East Region
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + benefits
The Opportunity
We are working in partnership with a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering key projects across the South East Water and Southern Water frameworks.
This is an excellent opportunity not only for experienced Supervisors but also for qualified electricians currently working on the tools who are ready to take the next step into site supervision. Full support and progression opportunities are available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation works across capital delivery projects in the water sector.
• Interpret client requirements and ensure effective implementation on-site.
• Liaise with the supply chain and oversee commissioning activities.
• Apply sound technical judgement and provide hands-on support during construction phases.
• Manage health & safety, environmental, and quality compliance across all works.
• Coordinate with internal teams, client representatives, and supply chain partners to achieve project milestones.
• Organise and oversee electrical shutdown methodologies in line with project plans.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of Business Assurance System (BAS) policies and procedures.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (City & Guilds or equivalent).
• 18th Edition (BS7671) qualified.
• Fully qualified electrician with ECS (JIB) Gold Card.
• Proven experience supervising electrical installations on capital projects or ready to step up from the tools into supervision.
• Previous experience working in the water industry (essential).
• Valid 4-day safety qualification (e.g. IOSH, SSSTS, or SMSTS).
• Strong IT skills, including web-based project portals.
• CSCS and/or CPCS card.
