POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Electrical Foreman to join our diverse team on a commercial projects throughout the city and surrounding areas.

ELECTRICAL FOREMAN QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Certificate
  • Saskatchewan Electrical License
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull
  • Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Clear and Maintain a clean driving and drug and alcohol clearance
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage electrical installations from start to finish.
  • Supervise and lead a team of electricians.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Coordinate with other trades, contractors, and clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Order materials and manage project schedules.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols.
  • Train and mentor junior electricians.
  • Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Prepare and submit project reports.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors.
  • Advise management on milestone completion status.
  • Ensure overall cleanliness of site trailers and vehicles on site.
  • Pursue training opportunities to advance industry knowledge.
  • Handle any on-site emergencies or issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
  • Establish and maintain good customer relations with site personnel and customers.
  • Comply with Company’s corporate Health and Safety manual.
  • Adhere to the Company and the customers policies and procedures as they apply to each project.
  • Attend daily/weekly site meetings and all training required.
  • Maintain clean driving abstract and Drug and Alcohol clearance.
  • Maintain a professional image and a high level of service with customers and co-workers during all contact, displaying positive behaviour, attitude, and workmanship habits in a respectful and empathetic way.
  • Lead others by example.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
