Responsibilities

IS THIS THE RIGHT ROLE FOR YOU?

To make this role a success we are looking for an experienced and registered Electrician that has experience in leading a team. Experience in the maintenance of food manufacturing plant and equipment would be highly beneficial.

What we would like to see in your application:

  • Current NZ Electrical Practicing License and solid electrical maintenance experience of food manufacturing equipment
  • Previous experience with continuous high-speed processing and packaging equipment
  • An ability to work under pressure with dispute and conflict resolution skills
  • PLC programming and fault-finding skills would be advantageous

To achieve this, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure plant availability and reliability through maintenance and repairs to manufacturing equipment
  • Act as a liaison between project work and site operations to ensure integration of electrical and automation components
  • Monitor work to ensure it is inline with NZ Electrical Standards and Regulations
  • Cost control and decision making for site R&M budget, including providing input into capital projects, along with project planning and executio
