Role scope  Kent are seeking Electrical Supervisors to join our Ampol Future Fuels project in Lytton. The role of Electrical Supervisor is to oversee the work of Electricians. To be responsible to ensure that electrical projects are carried out as efficiently and safely as possible. To be responsible for planning and scheduling projects, including estimating the time and materials needed to complete them. To oversee the work of electricians while they’re on the job and provide them with assistance or guidance when necessary. This is an amazing opportunity to join a critical Australian infrastructure project which will be instrumental in maintaining local fuel supplies for Australia.    Your Day to Day will Include: * Estimate the time and materials needed to complete projects * Maintain records and documentation relating to the ongoing completion of projects * Supervise electricians as they work, providing guidance and instruction as needed * Ensure that work complies with all safety requirements * Perform electrician tasks as needed * To plan, schedule and implement electrical projects from inception to completion * Determining project requirements, setting deadlines, estimating costs and coordinating with other departments or contractors * To manage and oversee electricians and electrical technicians to ensure accurate, safe and on-schedule task completion * Monitoring progress, providing guidance and addressing issues or concerns * To ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies * To conduct regular safety inspections, identifying potential hazards, implementing safety procedures and training staff * To maintain the quality of electrical work by conducting regular inspections to ensure installations and repairs meet industry standards and client specifications and troubleshoot any issues that occur * To oversee routine and preventive maintenance tasks and electrical system and equipment repairs * To identify and resolve problems quickly to minimise downtime, and disruption * To maintain accurate records of all electrical work, including blueprints, schematics, maintenance logs and inspection reports     About You:  Our ideal candidate holds a current QLD Electrical Mechanic or Fitter Mechanic licence, along with a valid Electrical Trade Certification and an EHHA certificate. They bring strong leadership skills, effective communication, and active listening to the role, with the ability to delegate tasks based on team strengths and foster a positive, cooperative work environment.
