Monday – Friday 8am – 4.00pm (37.5 hours per week)
Role includes on-call rota.

Do you have experience managing a team of Electricians in a commercial or healthcare environment?

· Management of the team of site electricians on a day-to-day basis, as well as supporting the Estates Electrical Manager in the delivery of safe electrical/mechanical services across trust buildings.
· Support the development and implementation of local plans for the Estates function, ensuring that services are offered to a high standard and run smoothly and efficiently, whilst on budget, and taking remedial action where needed.
· Oversee and monitor engineering and electrical services and systems, as well as offering advice and ensuring compliance with statutory and or mandatory regulations.
· Analyse and interpret engineering/electrical challenges, drawing on expert opinions to devise creative solutions that keep Trust Estate Buildings running seamlessly. Decode intricate engineering drawings and specifications, guiding others effectively.
· Shape the future of our Estates function. Develop and execute local plans that elevate our services to the highest standards while maximizing efficiency.
· Keep our systems up to date using both manual and computerized methods. Your meticulous attention to detail ensures smooth operations.
· Negotiate and persuade as you convey complex information. Collaborate seamlessly with other trades, external agencies, and contractors.
· Be part of our on-call team, ready to tackle repairs beyond regular hours.
