Description

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technical Manager to join our team. This is an office/site based role and focuses on ensuring full compliance with MCS and electrical industry standards across all electrical works. You will be responsible for reviewing documentation, overseeing compliance processes, carrying out audits, and providing technical guidance to ensure installations meet the required safety and regulatory standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fully qualified Electrician (18th Edition, Inspection & Testing, AM2 essential).
  • Previous experience as a NAPIT/NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor.
  • Proven experience in compliance management, auditing, and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations, NICEIC requirements, and H&S standards.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong reporting and organisational skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to work independently in an office-based compliance role.
    Salary: Up to £47,500 OTE

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all electrical works comply with current regulations and industry standards.
  • Review, prepare, and maintain compliance documentation and certification records.
  • Carry out desktop-based compliance audits and reporting.
  • Provide technical and regulatory guidance to electricians and contractors.
  • Oversee remedial works and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • Lead on health and safety compliance, ensuring policies and processes are up to date.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth and compliant project delivery.
