Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Hix Group is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team in Penrith, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of Traffic Signals and associated electrical infrastructure. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our region’s transportation network. Hix is a BGIS Business and operates alongside BGIS.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Carry out electrical installations, repairs and maintenance on Traffic Signals and ITS
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with traffic signal systems and components
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and tasks
  • Liaise with relevant authorities and stakeholders to coordinate work activities
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required standards and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken
