JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, industrial maintenance, and customer service. This role requires proficiency in various technical skills, including hydraulics, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and the ability to read schematics. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems to ensure optimal performance in our manufacturing environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar role within manufacturing environments.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
• Familiarity with calibration processes, sensors, and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
• Experience with Calypso or similar measurement software is a plus.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, high voltage systems, low voltage systems, and field service operations is desirable.
• Military experience related to electrical or mechanical fields is advantageous but not required.

• Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment, including high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and distributed control systems.
• Conduct calibration of sensors and precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate readings.
• Utilize AutoCAD for creating and modifying electrical schematics as needed.
• Provide field service support to customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe work environment while adhering to industry standards.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of CNC machines and vision inspection systems.
• Document all maintenance activities and repairs performed on equipment.
