POSITION SUMMARY Electrical Helper/Apprentice: Apprentice that is capable of learning and working in a heavy industrial environment. Working on Various 120/208V systems and Various 480V systems. Work is slated for day shift with overtime available. Apprentices will work directly with Electrical supervisor and other Journeyman Electricians on staff.  RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES * Work with 480 Volt and 120/208 Volt systems * Basic Troubleshooting on machines and facilities related electrical issues.  * Install conduit and enclosures to code standards while working under Journeyman Electricians * Able to fly solo on small projects  * Lighting maintenance, General electrical maintenance, Electrical PM’s * Interpreting Blueprints and able to install electrical based on demand.  * Ability to identify parts and other needed materials * Ability to work at heights from man lifts and ladders.  * Prepares work area for installation of equipment * Connects wiring and equipment as per code and job specification. * Measuring, cutting, and pulling wire * Good housekeeping and maintain a safe work environment  OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES  * To ensure Kelvion’s Standard of Excellence, which includes quality, is incorporated into every product we produce.  * Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Global Code of Business Principles, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Vision and Values, Operational Framework REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES) * Basic understanding of electrical theory * Knowledge of bending and installing conduit  * General knowledge of the National Electrical code and where to find code references  * Strong communication and interpersonal skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
