Description

We are looking for a talented and skilled Electrical Technician in Steel Melt Shop to join our multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. Responsible for working with various electrical components, ensuring proper functionality, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with other teams to support steel production operations. Maintain and repair machinery and equipment to ensure the efficient and safe operation of steel production processes. Duties may include but will not be limited to: Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including power distribution, motors, control panels, and lighting Conduct inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of electrical components as needed Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to identify the root cause of malfunctions Install, wire, and connect electrical equipment, panels, and devices according to electrical diagrams and specifications Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks HSE & Quality Responsibilities Complying with Kuwait Steel policies, HSE Management System and Integrated Management System (ISO9001/14001/45001) Executing Health, Safety and Environment plans in the workplace according to HSE standard, company and country rules and legal regulations Achieving and maintaining company HS&E targets, objectives and Preserving and protecting Kuwait Steel lives High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in Electrical Engineering or related field is a plus Must have 5 years' of experience in Electrical Maintenance in Steel Making Plant
