JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in electronics with remote control technology preferred but not essential as full training will be available for the right person.
Home repair skills sets will also be considered.
Angling Technics is a local manufacturer of Bait boats within the fishing industry and we have been around for over 30 years with some of our longstanding staff being here for 25years +. We need extra help and are looking for someone we can train and help build a successful career with.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge to assist with the integration of electrical systems into broader mechanical frameworks.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • A logical approach to problem-solving, demonstrating attention to detail in all tasks performed.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to electrical components, including remote controllers, to identify and resolve problems promptly.
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings using AutoCAD software.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to design and implement electrical solutions tailored to customer requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational efficiency.
  • Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications made to electrical systems.
