Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Electrical Technician Production is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and components used in the production of mobility and accessibility vehicle solutions. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring electrical assemblies are built to specification, function safely, and meet quality standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The essential functions listed below represent the primary duties of the position. Duties may vary based on assignment and business needs. Install, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical components and systems in production vehicles and assemblies Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions Diagnose electrical issues and perform repairs or adjustments to ensure product functionality and safety Perform quality checks to verify electrical systems meet company and regulatory standards Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve electrical issues Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and production guidelines Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in electrical systems preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience Relevant electrical experience in manufacturing, production, automotive, or professional environment Ability to read wiring diagrams and use basic electrical testing equipment (multimeter, hand tools, power tools) Required certifications or licenses: None required Preferred Qualifications Vocational or technical certification in electrical systems or related field Experience working with vehicle electrical systems, upfitting, or mobility equipment Familiarity with low-voltage automotive or production electrical systems Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
