Responsibilities
  • You will provide a safe environment for those working nearby and implement good housekeeping in your own workspace and common areas
  • Testing and tagging to current electrical standards and customer requirements
  • Further, you will assist with maintaining an efficient, well run electrical workshop, focused on the diagnosing, repairs, servicing and modification of welding and industrial equipment
  • You will work closely with other technicians to allocate job lists and prioritise work as and when required
  • In addition, you will always abide by site rules and requirements … be aware of induction and site-specific requirements
  • Follow BOC procedures, in particular those relating to motor vehicle and mobile phone usage
  • Also, you will follow ARC Welding procedures relating to stock management including but not limited to notifying office of parts used, parts returned and kits that have been partly used, and any equipment or parts retrieved from a client to be properly returned to the workshop.
