Description
Brisbane | Full-time RedEarth builds battery systems in Brisbane to help Australians take control of their energy. Homes and businesses rely on these systems to reduce grid risk and stay powered when it matters. When something goes wrong in the field, RedEarth owns it. We support our installers, stand behind our systems, and fix problems properly. This role sits at the centre of that mission. This is a technical support role for a licensed electrician who enjoys problem-solving and backing others. Most work is office-based, with flexibility built in, plus occasional site visits when hands-on support makes the difference. What you’ll be doing Provide Tier 2 technical support to electricians and installers via phone and email Support commissioning, configuration, and fault resolution Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and standards to guide compliant installs Diagnose electrical faults, system behaviour, firmware, and communications Attend site when required to support complex or critical issues Log and track support cases clearly in CRM systems Work closely with engineering and product teams on root-cause fixes Support warranty investigations and corrective actions Stay current with Australian electrical standards and WHS requirements What you must have Unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills Confidence reading and explaining electrical documentation Clear, calm communication style Comfort using software tools and support platforms Nice to have, not required Experience in technical support, service, or commissioning roles Exposure to energy systems, industrial work, or smart equipment Additional training or certifications beyond core licensing You do not need solar or battery experience. Certification, judgement, and how you support others matter most. Why work at RedEarth Help power Australian homes and businesses, not just close tickets Work on real systems designed, built, and supported locally Flexible work setup with balance between office, remote, and site time Influence product quality through direct feedback to engineering Clear pathways into senior technical or specialist roles Join a team that takes ownership and backs each other!
