Our client is an established leader in environmental and infrastructure solutions, known for delivering sustainable water and wastewater treatment systems across Canada and beyond. We are currently seeking a Electrical Technician – Water Systems. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on electrical work, control programming, and problem-solving in dynamic field environments.

What You’ll Do
This isn’t a standard electrician job. You’ll be working on water and wastewater treatment systems—a mix of electrical work, control systems, and field service. Here’s what your days could look like:
*
Install and commission water/wastewater treatment systems at client sites.
*
Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Automation Direct).
*
Maintain and calibrate instrumentation, VFDs, and process control equipment.
*
Interpret schematics and process flow diagrams, diagnose complex issues, and implement solutions.
*
Respond to service calls and ensure all work meets ESA/TSSA standards.
*
Prepare safety clearances and complete detailed service reports.

What You Bring
*
Licensed Electrician (309A or 442A) or strong equivalent experience.
*
Background in water/wastewater systems or industrial automation
*
4+ years in electrical installation and maintenance.
*
Hands-on PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
*
Valid G-class license, your own vehicle, and a valid passport.
*
Willingness to travel up to 50%, sometimes on short notice.
*
Eligible for Reliability Status clearance.
