JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering and technology, with experience in project management and a passion for innovation. As a Technologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting various projects across multiple sectors, including manufacturing, construction, and oil & gas. Your expertise will contribute to product development, system design, and the implementation of efficient processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in English; bilingual candidates with French are highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Experience in manufacturing processes and construction methodologies.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering concepts is a plus.
• Competence in CAD software including SolidWorks for design tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills with a solid foundation in math for problem-solving tasks.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration within teams and presentations to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop and implement technical solutions.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation for drafting and design tasks.
• Conduct analysis and debugging of systems using Python, MATLAB, or similar programming languages.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Perform construction inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Engage in lean manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Provide technical support for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems.
• Maintain organized records of project progress, schedules, and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
