Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Background or experience in the electrical field is required Set up, calibrate, and maintain tooling and fixtures for testers to ensure accuracy, reliability, and production readiness. Maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve tester control systems to support stable and efficient testing operations. Develop, modify, and support tester-related software or scripts for automation, data collection, and process optimization. Analyze tester performance and resolve hardware/software issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with production team to support new product introduction and tester improvements. Software knowledge is an advantage Experience with HDD industry test equipment would be an advantage Qualifications REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in electrical or a related engineering field 3+ years minimum in related position. PREFERRED: Previous experience as an Engineer Moderately communicate of spoken and written English. Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Computer literacy SKILLS: Strong relational skills to develop a good relationship within the organization Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a team environment Able to work under high pressure Additional Information #LI-SW1 Western Digital thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
