ELECTRICAL TESTER / ELECTRICIAN

You’ll be working from our colourful Solihull office, which is the nerve centre of our business. You’ll be rubbing shoulders everyday with some of the brightest and smartest electricians in the Midlands. It’s a hugely vibrant, high energy environment.

The right candidate will be:

• Familiar and working with the 18th Edition Regulations.
• Super keen to work as part of a team.
• Be able to use initiative and work on their own at times.
• Be able to work with NICEIC online Software
• The job role involves carrying out electrical testing to the latest edition of the regulations, carrying out remedial works, electrical installation works and electrical maintenance works.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18th Edition latest amendment wiring regulations certification
• City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 Electrical Qualification or equivalent
• Qualified to City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent testing qualification
• City & Guilds Qualification or NVQ Level 3
• Pass a full Enhanced CRB Check
• A Clean Driving License
• Be able to work under pressure
• Be flexible with working times

• A 5 year criminal record check will be required.
• 5 years past employment history will be required.
• Have substantial post qualification work experience - Minimum 5 years post qualification within commercial and industrial sectors.
• 2 years experience as a Qualified Supervisor

This electrical role will suit somebody who is suited to being on one site doing hours between 07.30 – 16.30 with occasional out of hours working which is shared between operatives
