Job Description Job Description King and Moffatt Building Services is currently looking to hire an Electrical Testers for our site in Galway. You will be responsible to survey, test and certify electrical installations to current regulations. What you would do Responsible for the inspection, testing, verification, and documentation of electrical installations across commercial, industrial, and large‑scale construction projects in Ireland. Ensure compliance with Irish National Rules for Electrical Installations (I.S. 10101), international standards (IEC/EN), and requirements set by Safe Electric and the CRU. Perform Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection & Testing on electrical installations. Complete Electrical Installation Certificates accurately and in a timely manner. Diagnose faults and ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain detailed records of test results and create reports of any issues found. Liaise with K&M Compliance Department and Site managers to ensure smooth workflow and compliance on projects. Use a variety of tools and equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools and testing equipment. Ensure equipment is in date and calibrated. Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures as required. Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. Qualifications Qualifications National Craft Certificate or equivalent Level 6 electrical qualification. City & Guilds 2407 – Electrical Testing & Verification - (QC) number. Strong knowledge of LV systems, Irish regulations, and testing standards. Ability to read electrical drawings and cable schedules. Experience using modern multi‑function test instruments. Authorised Person (AP) training. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Computer literate with knowledge of iPad usage Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
