We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience of electrical installations and testing within a process plant environment.
  • Experience of Manufacturing and Industrial sector is essential.
  • 2391 or 2394/5 qualified and must have knowledge of condition reporting.
  • 18th edition qualified.
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification.
  • Level 3 Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Experience of using Thermal imaging test equipment would be beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position will be part of our Electrical Compliance team where you will be supporting our energised testing team. Your role will involve carrying out various electrical installations of low voltage wiring and containment systems. You will also be responsible for testing and inspecting these installations. You will have the opportunity to develop and advance within this team as we support courses to train you for Live Testing.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Performing and adhering to safe electrical isolation procedures for existing live circuits.
  • Installing various low voltage wiring systems and cable containment systems.
  • Issuing installation and condition reports.
  • Testing energizing systems up to 1000V, including newly installed and modified electrical systems.
  • Ensuring that all operational procedures, safe working practices, and H&S procedures are followed.
  • Completing any reasonable tasks assigned in accordance with your position, with the aim of adding value.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams and drawings.
  • Following a schedule of works as agreed with adi/customer
