This senior-level position is responsible for developing detailed electrical designs and virtual construction models that support commercial and industrial electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate combines strong electrical knowledge with VDC/BIM expertise to create accurate, constructible designs while collaborating with project managers, engineers, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Design detailed electrical layouts for electrical rooms, underground conduit pathways, equipment racking, and other critical electrical infrastructure. * Develop and maintain REVIT-based electrical models and construction drawings that meet company and project standards. * Utilize AutoCAD and related design software as needed to support project requirements. * Collaborate with engineering, project management, and field teams to develop efficient, constructible electrical designs. * Coordinate with other trades to identify and resolve design conflicts before construction. * Revise drawings and models based on field conditions, RFIs, and project updates. * Maintain organized project documentation and ensure design accuracy throughout all phases of construction. Requirements & Qualifications * Minimum of 3 years of electrical installation and/or electrical design experience. * At least 1 year of experience using REVIT, AutoCAD, and/or related design software. * Strong understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems. * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. * Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and electrical plans.
