QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL):

  • NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or above in Electrical Installation

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Electrical Wireman who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be part of a close-knit production team, wiring bespoke control panels and full machine systems, working from initial layout to final commissioning. You’ll get the opportunity to work on a variety of automation systems, contribute directly to customer-ready solutions, and travel the world for machine installations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical assembly drawings
  • Wire control panels, machine systems, and other high-end electrical assemblies
  • Lay out, cut, drill, tap, and assemble control panel back plates and sub-assemblies
  • Use hand tools and battery-operated tools confidently, with precision in crimping and soldering
  • Collaborate with design engineers to resolve build issues and improvements
  • Follow projects through from build and test to site installation
  • Maintain a quality-first approach and attention to detail in all work
