Description:

LYN Group is a highly regarded electrical contracting company with extensive experience in the industrial and commercial sectors. We specialize in industrial facility relocations, water and wastewater treatment plants, biogas facilities, and institutional projects.

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Must hold a Canadian citizenship for a minimum of 10 years. Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for this role, as the candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Excellent communication skills are critical to ensure effective collaboration and clear messaging.
  • The candidate must be able to travel to the United States as required and meet eligibility criteria for obtaining a work visa.
  • The candidate must have a strong understanding of the Ontario Electrical Code and ensure that all work is completed in full compliance with its standards and regulations.
  • The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who fosters collaboration, guides and mentors coworkers, and helps create a positive and productive work environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire and support a team are essential for success in this role.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in both appearance and demeanor. As a leader, they will set the standard for professionalism within the team, ensuring tasks are managed efficiently and priorities are handled effectively.
  • The candidate should have knowledge in controls and instrumentation, with the ability to work closely alongside the automation team.
  • Knowledge of the power distribution systems.
  • Troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and execute the work.
  • Knowledge of VFDs, relays, Contactors, Overloads, etc.
  • Installations of main breakers, main feeders, and big equipment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52.00-$56.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
