KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in facilities, construction, or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and local electrical codes.
• Ability to use electrical testing equipment and tools effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in varying environments (indoors, outdoors, at heights, etc.).
• Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to on-call emergencies.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, or automation (if relevant to your industry).
• Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, or other MEP services.

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and testing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safe and efficient operations in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with regulations and safety standards.
• Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and resolve faults efficiently.
• Inspect and test electrical systems, components, and appliances for safety, functionality, and compliance.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Ensure proper functioning of lighting, power distribution, control systems, and emergency backup systems.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures at all times.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and maintenance schedules.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly and efficiently.
• Coordinate with other technicians, engineers, and contractors as required.
