Job Description The Electrician position is all about: Maintain and repair electrical equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure all regulations involving electrical standards, WH&S standards, and safe working practices are followed. Carry out various duties necessary to maintain hotel operations. Ensure all repairs and preventative maintenance schedules are carried out on services and equipment. Liaise with the maintenance management team to ensure all plant and equipment are maintained in good working order. Carry out maintenance requirements and follow up as scheduled by the Property Management System (PMS). Assist in keeping up-to-date records on the repair and maintenance of plant and equipment. Liaise with the hotel management team and external contractors regarding all work in guest, public, and staff areas to ensure out-of-order areas are brought back into use as soon as possible. Record all maintenance tasks performed, complete and incomplete, including any necessary reports in reference to repairs and preventative schedules. Qualifications What are we seeking? Trade qualification in electrical engineering. 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. Strong English communication. Reliable and works well under pressure.
