About the job
The main things are:
- Lead 2-3 teammates and assist with the training of apprentices and new staff
- First and second fix of new homes
- Domestic and commercial installation and maintenance, inspections, testing and signing off relevant paperwork
- Meter box alterations/upgrades
- Maintain and keep safe of tools, equipment
(including safety equipment), plant items, motor vehicles, and hired plant items)
- Observe quality and technical procedures, work instructions and practices
- Ensure that all tasks undertaken are performed in a manner consistent with OH&S policies and procedures of the company and State Legislation
What we need
Apart from a positive and helpful attitude, great work ethic and infectious smile, all you really need is to be a fully qualified electrician (obviously!)
You will hold a SA driver’s license and if you’ve got extra qualifications in solar or refrigeration, that would be a massive bonus.
