ATCO Structures & Logistics is looking to hire a registered Electrician Apprentice (3rd Year, 4th Year)/ Journeyman to join our Calgary and Rockyview Manufacturing Plant. Under the guidance of a Lead Hand or Journeyperson, the Apprentice Electrician is responsible for the wiring of modular units from rough to finishing. This is a union-based role. Location will be Calgary and Rockyview Location Job Responsibilities: Assisting and or wiring modular units from rough-in, to finishing Assisting in and or installation of wiring units, panels, and fixtures Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts. Troubleshoot and test all electrical wiring units and fixtures in modular units. Perform quality inspections and inspect tools and the shop. Use hands and power tools. Follow all safety procedures. Other duties as assigned. Who You Are: Actively registered Apprentice Electrician 3rd or 4th year or a journeyman. Previous experience with modular units is considered an asset Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Ability to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools as well as materials.
