KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years Auto Electrician experience.
  • Mechanical background and experience in an automotive or a similar role
  • Interests in Electrics and automation will be advantageous (such as hobbies or projects).
  • IT literacy to a basic standard.
  • Ability to read & understand wiring diagrams.
  • Familiar with CNH EST would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Can bus systems required.
  • Good understanding of Hydraulic principles.
  • A good knowledge & understanding of CNH products would be advantageous.
  • Good work ethic and conscientious.
  • Electrical related qualifications advantageous.
Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Road Test Centre Supervisor, this exciting and challenging position will be based from our Basildon manufacturing facility. The purpose of the role is to ensure the timely diagnostic & necessary repair actions are undertaken on a wide variety of Tractor models.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Detailed understanding of Electrical equipment and how it is utilised.
  • Knowledge and understanding of fitting mechanical parts to automotive (i.e. car, bike, tractor, harvester) & how these interact with the Tractor Electrical systems for diagnostic purposes.
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of unit parts.
  • Basic understanding of automotive electronics.
  • To have the ability to gain Knowledge, understanding and interpretation of the Vehicle build, ALSTAR reports and Travel Cards.
  • Rectification of Tractor Electrical quality defects.
  • Complete repairs within estimated repair times.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment and demonstrate the ability to work independently when required.
