SELF-EMPLOYED ELECTRICIAN (INSPECTION, TESTING & INSTALLATIONS)

EcoWatts Electrical Services is seeking a fully qualified electrician to support a mix of inspection & testing (EICRs) and general electrical installation across domestic, commercial and light industrial sites.
Immediate assignment: an EICR on a commercial public building (with potential remedials). Ongoing work includes standard installs, maintenance, upgrades and fault-finding—with inspection & testing remaining a fundamental part of the role. Some projects take place in colleges and schools, so professionalism and compliance with safeguarding requirements are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out EICRs and issue compliant reports (EICR, EIC, MEIWC).
• Diagnose faults and complete remedial works to current standards.
• Deliver day-to-day installation and maintenance: additions/alterations, board changes, small works, upgrades and fault-finding.
• Liaise professionally with clients and our office; maintain tidy records and photo documentation.
